Shuppz Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited commerce, manipulation, scraping, abuse, privacy violations and conduct that undermines marketplace trust.

Early Beta governance draft Updated September 4, 2026
Pre-incorporation legal status

Shuppz is currently a pre-incorporation Early Beta project. These documents are tailored to the current Shuppz product and are intended to govern the Beta framework, but the formal operator identity, legal contact, formation jurisdiction and any jurisdiction-specific dispute provisions must be completed and reviewed by qualified counsel before production commercial launch.

1. General rule

Use Shuppz lawfully, honestly and in a way that preserves shopper safety, merchant autonomy, privacy and marketplace integrity.

2. Illegal and prohibited commerce

Do not use Shuppz to offer, request, facilitate or promote illegal goods or services, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, prohibited weapons, unlawful drugs, human exploitation, fraud, money laundering or other unlawful commerce.

Regulated products or services may be restricted or prohibited unless Shuppz has expressly enabled a compliant workflow.

3. Demand and review manipulation

Do not create fake shopper accounts, fake “I Want This” requests, fake demand, sham transactions, fabricated redemptions or fake reviews.

Do not coordinate review rings, pay for deceptive reviews, manipulate marketplace signals or falsely claim scarcity, popularity or merchant performance.

4. Scraping and automation

Do not scrape, crawl, harvest, reverse engineer or automate access in a way that bypasses technical controls, burdens the service, extracts personal data or replicates protected marketplace data without permission.

Normal browser indexing or an expressly authorized API or export, if later provided, is governed by the terms of that feature.

5. Security abuse

Do not probe, exploit, distribute malware, bypass authentication, interfere with rate limits, access another account, exfiltrate data or disrupt the service.

Good-faith security research must avoid harm and should be reported through Shuppz’s security or governance contact path.

6. Privacy and personal data

Do not use shopper intent to identify, profile, contact or target a person beyond the purpose and permissions provided by Shuppz.

Do not upload sensitive personal data that a feature does not require.

7. Harassment and harmful content

Do not threaten, harass, discriminate against, exploit or impersonate another person, and do not publish unlawful or intentionally deceptive content.

8. Intellectual property

Do not use Shuppz to infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, trade secrets or other protected rights.

9. Enforcement

Shuppz may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence and report unlawful conduct when reasonably necessary to enforce this Policy or protect users.
